The strict but loving Mrs. Broto, along with the wise Mr. Broto. They struggle to maintain the family legacy of a homey-concept inn, complete with Central Javanese cuisine, an old house atmosphere, and traditional clothing such as kebaya and batik. The main conflict arises from Tarjo, the youngest son who wants to prove himself capable of managing the inn. The Broto family’s life becomes more complicated when Tarjo has a love affair with Anna, an important guest at the inn, with a different age. This love story becomes a big challenge and threatens family harmony.
